Lieto, Bozzone, DeBoom, Yoder, Lavelle, Ficker, Tingle, & Oeinck Confirm for the 2011 Memorial Hermann Gateway to the Bay Triathlon Festival!

With a $32,000 Pro Purse at the 2011 Memorial Hermann Gateway to the Bay Triathlon its no wonder there's a lot of buzz around the event. With top of the line pros in attendance we are happy to report that we have confirmations from Chris Lieto, Terenzo Bozzone, Tim DeBoom, Andrew Yoder, Becky Lavelle, Desiree Ficker, Laura Tingle, and Jasmine Oeinck. Additional pros have expressed interest but are not yet confirmed. We will update each E-Letter with new confirmations as we receive them. This will be one of the featured races talked about all season so don't miss your chance to see some of the world's best in action the first weekend of April!

The athlete guide and participant list have been added to the site. Please check your name and look through the guide to make sure you know what's going on this weekend for the race. We have race morning number pickup as well as signup for the race. Remember...no shirts, no awards, and limited food. That's what makes the race low cost. Thanks!

ONURLEFT DUATHLON Weather Contingency Plan

In the event of bad weather we will delay no more than 30 minutes. After that it will turn into a 5k. If the weather is too bad for a 5k we will cancel the event all together. Remember because the race is paid for by us upfront there can be no returns. We will do our absolute best not to cancel. In the event of lightning the race will not happen, heavy rain/winds will cancel the bike but most likely not cancel the run. Fingers crossed for good weather
